Today is a rotorua sightseeing tour day. We will visit agrodome show – a fun loving insight of nz’s sheep myth. In new zealand there are approx. 14 times more sheep then nz’s population. Later on we will be amazed with visit to tepuia thermal reserve to witness world famous bubbling mud pools, pohutu geyser and maori cultural show to enjoy local traditions, culture, songs and dance. Lake Rotorua is the second largest lake in the North Island of New Zealand by surface area. In the centre of Lake Rotorua is Mokoia Island, the setting for one of New Zealand’s most famous love stories. Geothermal activity continues below and around Lake Rotorua. Clouds of steam drift around the shore and the water has a high sulphur content, resulting in a magical green-blue colouration.
Early in the morning pack your bags to leave for auckland. On our way we will visit hamilton gardens – a peaceful, relaxing garden collection of paradise, productive, fantasy and landscape gardens – all at one place. We will then proceed to auckland, check-in and quickly off to city tour. We will explore one tree hill, mt. Eden hill, tamaki drive, bastion point, and kellytarltonssealife aquarium as main locations in a very dynamic – city of sails auckland. Witness the largest in- house collection of penguins in the world at kellytarltons along with the sharks and other sea creatures. Later in the evening visit sky tower- the tallest free standing tower on southern hemisphere and overnight stay in Auckland.
Early morning we will leave for christchurch by air (garden city of new zealand). Here we will visit international antarctic center and witness one of the smallest penguins in the world along with an antarctic 4d show and a hagglund ride. Later travel through the scenic canterbury plains and at lake tekapo to twizel. Enroute visit world famous church of good shepherd and stroll on the shores of stunning lake tekapo. Arrive twizel, check in the hotel and relax. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Leave for one of the most beautiful places on the planet- queenstown. On the way visit arrowtown – a little historical town with long mining history & also enjoy tasting of nz wine at gibbston valley winery. Later check in at the hotel, freshen up and leave for skyline gondola. We will leave for milford sound – a road trip with breathtaking scenery at every corner so keep your camera handy and no way, you can afford a little nap.
