There are many options to reach Dwarka from Ahmedabad, the capital city of the state of Gujarat. The easiest option is to hire a taxi from Ahmedabad to Dwarka. It takes around 3–5 hours depending on the traffic condition. One can also take an overnight journey by Mahasagar Express or Saryu Yamuna Express train or Saarindra express train which also passes through Dwarka but these trains do not stop at Dwarka station 

Hence one will have to get down at Morbi station which is 3–5 km away from Dwarka. From Morbi, one can hire a private cab or taxi to reach Dwarka. Another option is to take an overnight journey by train and then wait for the train at Morbi station. 

However, this is not a recommended option due to the fact that Morbi is far away from Dwarka and hence one can have so many hours of waiting every day on the train itself, there are also other cities that are also way away from Dwarka, thus it would be more advantageous to take a morning long journey by trains rather than going through the overnight journey from city A to city B. 

One can also take an overnight journey by chartered flight or luxury bus services or private buses for which tickets are available. If one does not have any options to reach Dwarka, he can opt for an overnight journey by taxi from Ahmedabad or other cities.

Though it is a day’s journey from Ahmedabad, but the trains do not stop at Dwarka station hence one has to get down at Morbi Station which is very far away and takes around 4–5 hours. There are also other cities that are also way from Dwarka. Hence many hours of waiting every day for the train would be more advantageous to take a morning long journey rather than going through the overnight journey from city A to city B.
